My Role
UI Designer
Timeline
Aug-Sep 2022

Background

Community Archives is a platform designed to assist HOA managers in purchasing and creating essential HOA documents for the home buying process. Recently acquired by Associa, they aimed to align their user interface more closely with their sister company, TownSq.

Initial Challenges

  • Limited engagement duration of only one month
  • Rapid adaptation to the TownSq design system
  • Language barriers with TownSq designers based in Brazil

Highlights

Solution 1: Dashboard
Users needed to view a dashboard that encouraged them to continue the account setup process.

Solution 2: Account Setup
Users needed to view a dashboard that encouraged them to continue the account setup process.

Solution 3: Order Details
Users needed an organized layout to view the details of the order that they had placed.

Solution 4: Document Builder
One of the key pieces of technology that Community Archives had developed was their Document Builder. This tool allowed HOA’s to generate custom PDF documents that could be distributed to new homeowners as part of the purchasing process. While the back-end technology was cutting-edge, they needed a better front-end experience. They needed a UI that allowed the user view the document while they were building it.

Final Thoughts

Despite the brief design engagement, it was highly successful and exceeded the client's expectations. Additionally, the TownSq designers were enthusiastic about the aligned aesthetics and overall look.
